The Modern Nest is reader-supported. This Affiliate Disclosure explains how affiliate links on this blog work, in plain language.
What are affiliate links?
Some of the links in our articles are affiliate links. That means if you click on one of those links and buy something, we may earn a small commission from the retailer — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or not.
How we mark affiliate links
Where an article contains affiliate links, we say so clearly in the article, and affiliate links are marked so you can tell them apart from ordinary links. If you are ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, please assume it may be, or ask us through our Contact Us page.
Our opinions are independent
Affiliate relationships never decide what we write about or what we recommend. We feature products and ideas because we think they are useful, well made or good value — not because we earn a commission on them. If we do not like something, we say so, or we simply do not feature it.
What this means for you
Using an affiliate link costs you nothing extra, and it helps keep The Modern Nest running so we can keep publishing free ideas. You are never obliged to use our links; you are always welcome to search for a product yourself and buy it directly.
